Honoured by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) with its Order of Distinction

For the fourth time in as many years, Comma has been honoured by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) with its Order of Distinction, the society’s highest award.

The Order of Distinction is given to those organisations that achieve 15 consecutive Gold Awards from RoSPA for occupational health and safety. 2015 marks Comma’s eighteenth consecutive Gold, a standard which is matched by very few other UK organisations.

The award follows Comma’s recent achievement of seven years without an injury requiring attention greater than first aid, and twenty years without a Loss Time Injury (LTI).

“This is another outstanding achievement for which everyone in the company deserves recognition”, said Comma spokesperson, Mike Bewsey. “We have all embraced workplace safety and accident prevention as a way of life. Our watchword is ‘nobody gets hurt at Comma’, and everyone in every department buys into it. Without any trace of complacency, I think we can all share and be proud of our continuing success”.
