Conversion at the Commercial Vehicle Show already taking place

This year’s CV Show was well attended with a high footfall. One noticeable attribute of the show was the number of exhibitors showcasing Light Commercial Vehicles. This would make sense with the increase in LCV sales.

The growth in LCV sales has come from fleets requiring smaller more nimble vehicles for deliveries and to meet environmental targets.

Ring looked to capitalise on the trend and focused on the Vehicle Conversion market with our range of mobile power, interior lights and warning lights to ensure vehicles can work remotely.

On the stand we had an example of a van converted into a Welfare Vehicle, kindly supplied by our customer Lyndon Systems. It acted as central focus for show casing our products in-situ, so visitors could get a full understanding of how our products make mobile work possible.

The initial response was very positive. Footfall on to the stand was high with over 200 visitors in 3 days. The early news is good with one of our customers, as a result of our stand at the show, has secured an order from a fleet customer to have 20 vans converted using our products.

Richard Morley, Sales Director at Ring said, “We are looking forward to building on the positive reviews to our stand and the products we had to offer. So far the feedback is promising and with many more enquires to follow up it bodes well. It was a great show.”
