75 PDC (parking distance control) sensors and 38 illumination switches have been added to the FPS range of switches and sensors.


The PDC range covers more than 6,000 applications for popular manufacturers like Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Ford, Mercedes, Citroën, Fiat, Vauxhall and Renault.

‘Rod sensors’ and ‘tail fins’ at the front and rear of the vehicle once made vehicles more manageable when parking. Nowadays, PDC sensors are crucial due to the various modern body designs and new vehicle technologies.

Vemo PDC sensors facilitate driving in and out of the most confined parking spaces and ultrasonic sensors on the front and rear of the vehicle calculate the position of potential obstacles. An intermittent tone indicates how much space is still available; the closer an obstacle comes, the shorter the signal intervals. If the distance is less than 30cm, a continuous tone will sound as a signal to brake. VEMO PDC sensors are the only products in the aftermarket which offer an exact alternative to the original.

Another new addition to the Vemo stock range is dashboard illumination switches which cover popular Audi, Volkswagen, Vauxhall, Mercedes and BMW applications. The product range consists of head lamp, fog lamp, hazard light, brake light and reverses light switches.
