14th October 2015, Paris… Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: FDML), announces today the launch of its updated F-M Campus training platform at Equip Auto, France, on October 13th -17th. The enhanced website went live on October 12nd and provides a new user-friendly interface and many new features, including a Technical Resource Centre and a wider selection of targeted training modules suitable for aftermarket installers, distributors and students.
The new F-M Campus training platform is an enhancement of the original, innovative design that has aided on-the-job training through online training courses and access to an extensive catalogue of technical papers. The enhanced version is structured in four sections; the Latest automotive news, a Technical Resource Centre (including diagnostic & troubleshooting, videos and other technical support material), a Newsletter and a Training Scoreboard.
“The new F-M Campus website has been designed to meet maximum customer requirements by providing an evolving curriculum of training modules offering three different levels of courses: “Introduction”, “Basic” and “Advanced”” says Marijn Staal, Federal-Mogul Motorparts, European Trade Marketing Manager, Aftermarket. “The new user-friendly platform encourages customers to explore the site and benefit from the latest content, new technical services and webinars. As we are always looking for ways of improving: the Help Us To Improve section will be closely monitored and updates implemented to ensure that F-M Campus continues to meet the needs of its users.”
A further key benefit of the new F-M Campus platform is the provision of a wider range of regularly updated training modules, the next to be uploaded is the Advanced Engine training module for experienced technicians.
“As OE technologies evolve and become increasingly complex it is important to continue the education of aftermarket mechanics and technicians and inspire the next generation of engineers and service professionals,” continues Staal. “We believe the latest F-M Campus platform provides the tools to ensure the aftermarket remains well serviced in the future.”
