BGA are delighted to announce the introduction of Power Steering Pumps to their comprehensive range of engine products. As a UK’s leading automotive pump specialist, BGA will become the UK aftermarket’s very first manufacturer to offer a comprehensive range of Water, Oil and Power Steering Pumps.

Currently, remanufacturers dominate the Power Steering Pump industry. More often than not, pumps purchased over the counter are remanufactured. Technically, remanufactured items should match the quality of a brand new part. However, commonly only certain elements of the pump are replaced. This means that parts within the pump are still used and are therefore worn. The Power Steering Pump market is also currently controlled by a surcharge system. When a unit is purchased, a surcharge is placed on the item. This is in addition to the original cost. The surcharge is then only refunded to the customer upon return of the replaced Power Steering Pump; subject to it passing the motor factor’s acceptance criteria. This current system relies on customers having to commit money up-front without the guarantee they will get it back.

 BGA have set out to change the UK aftermarket with their new Power Steering Pump offering. As an automotive pump specialist with over 15 years’ experience, BGA are now able to offer the aftermarket a complete range of new OE quality Power Steering Pumps. The supply of a new unit means the removal of the costly surcharge system, the initial outlay and the valuable admin and labour costs involved in the return process.
