Wins Supplier of the Year at the CAT Awards

Brake Engineering has been awarded ‘Supplier of the Year’ at the prestigious Car & Accessory Trader (CAT) Awards 2016 after finding success with its Original Aftermarket campaign.

Held at Twickenham Stadium on 12 February, Brake Engineering clinched one of the most respected awards in the industry thanks to its highly successful Original Aftermarket campaign.

Launched back in October, the campaign aims to improve the trade’s misunderstanding of the braking sector and increase distributor sales of Brake Engineering’s complete product range of calipers, discs, drums, hydraulics, pads and shoes.

Original Aftermarket enables the entire supply chain to clearly identify the quality, service and support the Brake Engineering brand and products offer to the automotive aftermarket. The brand also comprises all the ingredients parts distributors need to sell the Brake Engineering product range and increase profitability.

Celebrating 35 years trading, the Brake Engineering brand has led the market in the supply of remanufactured brake calipers evolving to the point where it is widely regarded as the “must-have” brand in the motor trade for full line braking parts supply.

Stephen Willis, Brake Engineering General Manager, Aftermarket UK, Scandinavia & Russia, said: “We are delighted to win this highly sought after award – it’s a reflection of our determination to meet our customers’ expectations by providing excellent service and products. The introduction of our Original Aftermarket campaign has played a huge part in securing this win, helping to bring clarity to an overly complex product sector.
“We’d like to thank our team for their hard work throughout the year, and also everyone who voted for us and recognised our dedication to bringing the best quality products to the market in the clearest and easiest way possible.”

With a circulation of more than 15,000 copies a month, CAT is a leading business magazine for the automotive aftermarket and its award ceremony brings great recognition to all winners, including Brake Engineering.
