The professional service choice

MAHLE is one of the world’s largest component manufacturers and vehicle systems suppliers, with considerable expertise in thermal management. Incorporating this extensive knowledge, the company’s ArticPRO range of air conditioning (A/C) service units, which are distributed here by MAHLE Aftermarket UK, offer workshops an array of benefits that fulfil all their A/C service requirements.

The five model ArticPRO range embodies the company’s E3 -Technology philosophy, which allows workshops to handle A/C service in an ecological, economical and efficient way. The units therefore deliver outstanding performance and their numerous functions mean that workshops are able to attain a superior level of productivity and in the process, provide them with an excellent return on investment.

The ArticPRO units are available in different versions, depending on the refrigerant that needs to be processed. The entry level ACX 120 is required for the HFC-134a refrigerant, whereas the ACX 220 is for the HFO-1234yf, both units are the same, with the refrigerant in the vehicle the deciding factor. The units have an alphanumeric keypad for ease of data entry and USB ports that deliver remote service support, software updates to the unit and A/C refrigerant reports that help workshops maximise productivity. The ACX 120 and ACX 220 can service passenger cars, heavy duty vehicles, agriculture and hybrid vehicles and reduces service times due to the 170L/min vacuum pump and unique deep vacuum feature.

The PROfessional ACX 150 and ACX 250 are again the same units dependent on the refrigerant, the ACX 150 is designed for the HFC-134a and the ACX 250 is intended for the HFC-1234yf. These models have the features from the previous units, but with added extras such as a colour touchpad for more comfortable usage when entering key data and an inbuilt printer for service results and customer reports, resulting in an easier and more efficient way to provide the customer with information. The ACX 150 and 250 also have easy to access databases that provide accurate A/C service information.

The concluding unit in MAHLE’s ArticPRO range is the premium ACX 280, which is the ultimate A/C service unit and will solely service HFC-1234yf refrigerant. This unit includes an integrated refrigerant identifier, a choice of fully automated service or individual processes and an automated vacuum check and pressure test prior to filling the refrigerant back into the vehicle. The ACX 280 also has direct access to components on the inside of the unit through convenient service doors, as well as the unit having a separate fresh oil circuit for PAG and POE oil.

Its vehicle database is individually programmable for passenger cars, hybrid and electric vehicles, plus light and heavy duty vehicles. The unit also provides intuitive menu navigation for function selection and data entry in 33 languages.

All models in the comprehensive MAHLE ArticPRO range benefit from excellent aftercare in the form of technical support, instruction and training.
