New Ford specific Performance Motor Oil grade

Comma has announced the introduction of new fuel efficiency-promoting Eco-FE 0W-30 to its Performance Motor Oils (PMO) range. Eco-FE 0W-30 is a fully synthetic C2 low-SAPS oil which has been specially developed for the latest technology Ford diesel engines from 2014 onwards. Its specification is particularly relevant to new Ford TDCi Dura Torq engines (1.5, 1.6 & 2.0), making Comma Eco-FE 0W-30 suitable for twenty one different Ford diesel models including Kuga, C-Max, Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo.

It also means that Comma Eco-FE 0W-30 is recommended by Comma for all applications requiring the Ford M2C950-A service fill oil specification. In common with all Comma-recommended applications, it is supported by a unique 100% guarantee of compatibility, performance and quality.

Sales and applications for new Comma Eco-FE 0W30 are forecast to grow quickly, since Ford plans to replace its WSS-M2C913-D with new WSS-M2C950-A as the service fill specification for all future diesel cars and vans. Comma Eco-FE 0W-30 is therefore available immediately in all the most convenient and popular workshop and retail pack sizes of 1L, 5L, 20L and 199L. Comma’s dedicated distributor website pages and industry-leading online VRN application data have been fully updated to accommodate the introduction of Eco-FE 0W-30. Factors and distributors are advised to amend their own systems accordingly.

This latest low viscosity product from Comma predicates a ‘next generation’ of 0W-20, 5W-20 and 0W-30 oils that will be specified by OEMs as they seek to meet increased environment and emissions regulations by developing individual engine oil specifications relevant to their new vehicles.
