Autoelcectro has assured its customers that ‘Brexit’ will not harm its business model

and has the ability to steer new and existing customers through what it admits is ‘unchartered waters’ for the UK.

In an open letter to its customers, UK Sales Manager, Nick Hood insisted the Bradford-based premium rotating electrics remanufacturer could seize a new opportunity following the historic EU referendum result and confidently-backed the automotive aftermarket to perform “better than the average in challenging times for the economy”.

However, Mr Hood said he was “relieved” Autoelectro wasn’t a net importer, following the initial decrease in the value of the pound against the dollar and will monitor the industry closely to see if importers have to increase their prices.

“In recent times, we have had to accommodate the impact of low-cost imported products. Many of those businesses are built on the concept of enticing customers with low prices, so it will be interesting to see how those companies accommodate this fundamental shift in their business model considering the negative shift in the pound to the dollar.”

Bullishly, in its 30th year of trading, Mr Hood said the Bradford-based company was in a unique position, in that it has the experience, history, stock availability and product knowledge to navigate its customers through changing times.

Built to match or exceed original equipment specifications, its remanufactured product portfolio can be explored on its website – www.autoelectro.co.uk – which also provides contact details to the Autoelectro team.
