Puts on a fantastic show as it celebrates turning 30
Party guests and management alike hailed Autoelectro’s 30th anniversary celebration as ‘one of the best’ and was delivered with a ‘level of professionalism many would be envious of’.
Over 200 people enjoyed the historic and emotional evening at the beautifully-decorated Cedar Court Hotel on Saturday 15th October, where UK Sales Manager, Nick Hood, performed his ‘for one night only’ role of Master of Ceremony wonderfully.
Past and present members of staff, colleagues and friends joined in the fun, all of whom have helped transform the company into one of the largest UK-based remanufacturers and suppliers of starters and alternators over the last three decades.
A delicious three-course meal was served, while light entertainment was provided throughout the evening by a local dance group.
The management trio of Tony, Paul and Nicky Bhogal all made unique speeches, taking a trip down memory lane by reliving some poignant highlights throughout the last 30 years and covering family and business history, ‘the early days’, important milestones and achievements.
A series of special yet essential ‘thank yous’ were made, while a moving tribute was paid to Santokh Bhogal, who established the Bradford-based business but passed away in 1996 at the age of 55.
A cartoon video illustrated caricatures of Autoelectro’s family of staff members as superheroes, while the ‘real’ heroes were each presented with an award to thank them for their hard work, commitment and loyalty.
A special cake, iced in Autoelectro’s iconic red livery and special ‘30’ logo, proved another popular attraction. Many guests credited the management team for their concerted efforts in, not just the cake, but ensuring the occasion was one to remember.
One guest paid a direct tribute to Autoelectro and, in particular, the trio of Tony, Paul and Nicky: ‘We have been to some big corporate events, but your celebration stands out as one of the best that we have seen, with a level of professionalism many would be envious of. Your dad would be proud of you. ‘The manner in which you delivered your presentations was really good on what was clearly an emotional evening for you all.We enjoyed the whole event and the food was amazing. We are looking forward to our invite to the fiftieth celebrations!’
Another guest added: ‘I just wanted to say thank you again for inviting me to your celebration on Saturday evening. It was an excellent event and a great thing to do for your staff and contacts. I thought everything about the event was really well done, and I’m sure a lot of effort went into it all. For me, I particularly enjoyed the history of the company and of your family. Of course, the food was great too!’
