Named as finalist in Bedfordshire Business Awards 2016

Comline Auto Parts (Comline) is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for Large Business of the Year in the inaugural Bedfordshire Business Awards 2016.

From almost 200 entries, category judges have whittled the entrants down to the final three. The winner will be announced during a glittering awards ceremony, due to take place at Bedford Corn Exchange on Thursday 17th November.

The Luton-based supplier of European, Japanese and Korean aftermarket parts has been nominated for the award by members of the local public. Launched by Bedfordshire on Sunday and sponsored by Barclays, the awards recognise hardworking businesses that achieve success in the community.

This latest nomination follows a number of recent successes for Comline, most notably becoming a proud recipient of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2016 and ranking a highly-credible 70th in The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table – both significant business accolades.

Furthermore, as recently as September, Comline was voted A1 Motor Stores Component Supplier of the Year by the members of the well-established UK buying group.

UK awards are hugely gratifying for a company that is proud of its British roots; evidenced by the Great Britain ‘stamp’ indelibly marked on the brand’s website and across its array of promotional material.

Marketing Manager, Leigh Davies, said: “Comline is delighted and proud to be recognised by the local public and Bedfordshire on Sunday. Our company is enjoying a fruitful 2016, and all connected with Comline are incredibly excited by this nomination.

“Comline is currently one of the fastest-growing automotive companies in Europe, but recognition so close to home is fantastic.”

Editor of Bedfordshire on Sunday, Sarah Cox, said: “We are thrilled to have received such fantastic entries in our very first year launching BoS’ Bedfordshire Business Awards. It just goes to show how many dedicated and successful businesses we have operating in this county.

“The standard is exceptionally high, and we wish our worthy finalists all the very best of luck.”

Winners will receive extensive coverage in the Bedfordshire on Sunday newspaper and online at www.bedfordshire-news.co.uk over the coming year.
