Autosupplies finds success at GROUPAUTO / UAN Awards

Autosupplies (Chesterfield) has been crowned UAN distributor of the year at the GROUPAUTO / UAN Gala Dinner and Trade Show held at Anfield, Liverpool.

The award celebrates Autosupplies’ continued business growth since it began trading in 1987, with just three members of staff and one van.

With the business growing year on year, Autosupplies now employs over 80 members of staff and 45 vans and is now one of the largest single branch motor factors in the UK.

The distributor has also announced a 7,600 square foot extension to its Bolsover site providing more space to extend all current product ranges. Expected to be completed by early 2017, the extension will mean the site in Bolsover will occupy 35,000sqft and will allow Autosupplies to hold £2.5million worth of products, ensuring it has the level of stock in place to meet all customer requirements.

Autosupplies managing director, David Clarke, picked up the award on the night. He said: “This is an incredible achievement for the company all credit goes to the team for its hard work throughout the year. As a parts and paints distributor, we have focused on continued business growth over the years to ensure we can meet increasing demand and ever-changing customer requirements and we will build on this in 2017 and beyond.”
