New Website Reflects Refined Brand Image

Banner Batteries one of Europe’s leading original equipment manufacturers of batteries and battery accessories is in the process of rolling out a new and refined corporate identity. Aligned to the company’s long-term corporate development strategy, the updated CI emanates from a process of optical and conceptual fine tuning that is considered evolutionary rather than revolutionary.

And whilst the new look brand identity is set to feature across the spectrum of Banner’s marketing communication activities, it is being showcased on the company’s global website, itself subject to a complete overhaul in terms of architecture, look and content, the focus being on making it more user friendly and increasingly interactive.

As for Banner’s refined brand image, then in addition to continuing to rely heavily on the colour red, Banner’s now familiar ambassador, the buffalo, is also retained, albeit set against a refined and evolved background. A personification of dynamism and energy, the Banner buffalo is a highly recognised symbol and an object of revered partner and customer symbolisation. Indeed it is a graphic that aligns perfectly with Banner’s slogan - ‘The Power Company, which purveys self-confidence like no other. ‘Power’ is representative of all Banner’s products and services, while ‘Company’ communicates strength of Banner internally with regard to its employees and suppliers, and externally to the trade, industry and consumers.

Clearly visible at www.bannerbatterien.com, the new look CI adopts a subtle position on a home page that presents visitors with a logical layout to aid friendly navigation. Featuring a drop down burger style menu, visitors can quickly and easily gain access to sub menus covering ‘Products’, ‘Support’ and ‘Company’. Also featured on the home page is a login protected ‘Partner Portal, ‘Contact’ and ‘Search’ facility.

Within the former product section, full, clear and concise product and technical data and information is available, as are technical specifications and a useful listing of application graphics. Such information is also supported by a suite of downloadable material in pdf format.

Commenting on the new look CI and website, Banner’s Country Manager, Lee Quinney said: “As Banner has a highly regarded reputation for providing the highest quality products delivered through a process of pioneering innovation, it is imperative that the company’s CI plays its part in supporting this and must therefore evolve accordingly. Whether used standalone or as part of a communication medium such as the new website, we are confident that the changes adopted will prove instrumental in helping continue to elevate Banner’s reputation not just here in the UK but on a global footing.”
