Turbo Hoses

The latest additions to the First Line range make reliable and convenient alternatives to sourcing from the franchised dealer.

The range of over 550 part numbers available from FPS covers many popular European and Asian applications.

Highlights include:

  • FTH1292 for Ford Mondeo 2.0 (2001-2007)
  • FTH1394 for Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 (2013-2016)
  • FTH1078 for Volkswagen Golf 1.9 (2003-2008)

Turbo hoses are subject to high levels of stress and contaminants as they are constantly exposed to large changes in temperature and pressure. They can also suffer from the effects of engine over-boosting and failing turbo seals which leads to eventual failure and need for replacement.

First Line turbo hoses are manufactured to the same specifications as OE parts. As they generally operate at increased air pressures, reinforcement fibres are added to the walls of the hose during their construction. These reinforcement fibres can either be polyester or aramid, depending on the specification of the OE part.

To help improve proper installation, First Line turbo hoses are also linked to their relevant clips on the F:Drive to allow for better cross selling at the point of purchase.

As product identification can be quite challenging, First Line has created technical layout drawings for every application to help installers pinpoint the parts they need. These images can be found on MAM Autocat and the F:Drive to ensure that no matter the choice of parts, the motor factor is able to quickly and easily supply the correct part, reducing the need to source from the OE dealer.
