Ignition specialist NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd will be highlighting the launch of its new NTK range of Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensors and Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors at Automechanika Birmingham.  

For maximum efficiency in engine operation and to ensure effective exhaust gas treatment, the engine control unit (ECU) needs to precisely regulate the air-fuel ratio.

NTK has been proving its excellence and know-how for decades as a leader in the production of original equipment (OE) Lambda sensors for vehicle manufacturers (VMs).

MAF and MAP sensors are essential elements in this process. Both provide the ECU with a signal needed to calculate the amount of air aspirated by the engine and from May the NTK range will comprise 87 MAF sensors and 69 MAP sensors.

The company will also be promoting a prize draw on Stand 19C70 at the NEC show on June 6-8 at to win a Suzuki Celerio city car which is open to members of its BoxClever garage loyalty scheme.
