UK motor trade to unite

Automechanika Birmingham will once again take place during 6-8 June 2017 at the NEC in halls 6 and 17 - 20, as it looks to emphasise the importance of revitalising and embracing the UK automotive supply chain and aftermarket.

The UK automotive aftermarket, now the fourth biggest in Europe, provides 345,600 jobs and accumulates a total value of £21.1 billion with 3 percent annual growth, the importance of this industry to the UK is unmistakable.

More than 800 quality exhibitors will be returning to the 2017 event and 250 companies are set to exhibit at Automechanika Birmingham for the first time.

The industry event will unite the very best of the UK aftermarket and supply chain and provide a one stop shop for motor factors and garages to discover the latest product launches, the technologies and practical solutions to suit their business.

Many of the exhibitors will announce special show deals, offers and competitions in time for the show.

Visitors can benefit from a comprehensive programme of more than 60 seminar sessions, technical talks, topical discussions on current industry issues and inspiring new technology, as well as live demonstrations all presented from industry experts.

With this in mind, Automechanika Birmingham represents the ideal opportunity to support this growing market in a central, accessible and relevant location.

Simon Albert, event director of Automechanika Birmingham said: “After last year’s overwhelming debut with a turnout of more than 12,000 visitors, this year’s event will be bigger and better with the size increased by 70 percent.

“The importance of the UK automotive industry to the economy is evident and as we believe the sector will play a key role going forward in uncertain times, we’re now calling on UK motor factors and garages to attend the event and benefit their business.”
