Wow visiters at Automechanika

Yellow and blue was the colour at Automechanika Birmingham as award-winning British brand, Comline Auto Parts (Comline), wowed the crowds with its dynamic and distinctive exhibition stands. Visitors were impressed by the vast array of impeccably displayed product from the brand’s broad ‘all makes’ range, whist the Comline sponsored, Bob Fowden Motorsport, Subaru Impreza WRC S11 rally car made a huge impression on all those in attendance.

Comline has hailed Automechanika Birmingham a big success and has excitedly revealed a heavy footfall to its main stand, which was purpose built for this year’s show. The enthusiastic and knowledgeable Comline sales team reported massive engagement with both existing customers and new prospects and have come away from the event with valuable business leads.

Visitors had the opportunity to literally get a feel for the brand’s product range, with core categories filtration, braking and steering & suspension each given big billing on the Comline stand. Also on display were a whole host of additional Comline product lines, including motor oils, lubricants, hubs & bearings, water pumps and clutch kits.

Diving under the bonnet of the brand even further, visitors to Automechanika had the opportunity to view Comline’s behind-the-scenes video which was screened across the three days. This video highlighted the scope and scale of Comline’s operation and showcased the various business functions that have earned Comline an official place among Europe’s fastest-growing companies, according to The Financial Times’ FT1000.

On a second stand situated directly opposite, Comline was all about brand engagement. Motorsport fans among the automotive trade audience were dazzled by the stunning, Comline sponsored, Bob Fowden Motorsport Rally Car. This incredible Subaru Impreza WRC S11 was previously a Subaru ‘works’ car driven by former WRC world champion, Petter Solberg. Visitors seized the opportunity to photograph the amazing 300bhp machine as part of Comline’s #ComlineChampion competition.

Many petrol-heads shared their picture with Comline’s recently-launched Instagram account – @Comline_Auto_Parts – for their chance to win the ultimate driving experience: driving five of the world’s most iconic supercars, plus a Subaru Impreza STI, a junior version of the WRC S11 on display.

Comline Marketing and Communications Manager, Leigh Davies, hailed Comline’s Automechanika Birmingham debut.

“As soon as I saw the Comline stands in the flesh for the first time I knew we would have a good show but the response we received from those in attendance was beyond our expectations. Our aim was to pick-up some interesting new leads whilst providing a platform for everyone in attendance to engage with the Comline brand - it’s safe to say we put a resounding tick in both boxes!”
