SMF Kits

Single Mass Flywheels (SMF) Kits are fitted to many passenger cars and light commercial vehicles as Original Equipment. SMF kits include the damping system as part of the clutch plate design rather than in the flywheel as with dual mass units.

National Auto Parts SMF kits give reliable motoring at a much reduced cost compared to that of replacing the DMF unit. The kit includes:

• Solid Flywheel (TDC markings, crankshaft locking and position sensor slots are the same as OE.)
• Driven Plate with long travel damper (Specifically engineered for each kit reference, rated at max engine torque +20%)
• Cover Assembly rated at max engine torque +20%
• Release Bearing (where applicable)
• Fitting Bolts – with recommended torque setting indicated on the kit box label
