Boot & Bonnet Gas Springs

Gas springs support the opening and closing of the vehicle’s boot or bonnet. They aid in elevation, hold the weight once open and allow for a controlled close. 

They should be replaced when the boot or bonnet is no longer held open securely, if there is severe corrosion of the connection points or piston rod, or an oil leakage from the gas spring chamber.
