Scrubs up for charity

Autosupplies is sponsoring Performance Health’s charity car wash in aid of John Eastwood Hospice on Friday 4 August, with the Chesterfield distributor supplying all materials needed for the day.

An exterior wash will cost customers £5 per car with all money going to charity.

Based in Sutton-in-Ashfield, John Eastwood Hospice provides services for patients with advanced cancer and other conditions requiring specialist palliative care such as Motor Neurone Disease.

The John Eastwood Hospice Trust recruits, trains and organises a team of volunteers to support and supplement the professional care staff in the hospice and community to develop the environment and existing facilities used by the patients at the hospice.

Autosupplies managing director, David Clarke, said: “We’re great believers in the importance of fundraising and what better way than to stick to what we know by supplying car wash essentials and help to sponsor a great cause. The day is sure to be great fun and we urge the local community to book their cars in now to avoid queueing on the day.”

Now employing more than 90 members of staff and managing a fleet of more than 50 delivery vehicles, the motor factor is one of the most prominent businesses in the Chesterfield area.
