Turbo Hoses

Making up the majority of First Line’s hose range are turbo hoses that connect the turbo to the intercooler and inlet manifold. Also included are air filter hoses that fit between the air intake and air filter housing that connects back to the turbo. First Line turbo hoses are supplemented by a range of premium quality hose clips to ensure optimum performance and lifespan of replacement parts.

Highlights include;

FTH1292 for Ford Mondeo 2.0 (2002-2007)

FTH1394 for Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 (2008-2016)

FTH1078 for Volkswagen Golf 1.9 (2003-2008)

As turbo hoses are constantly exposed to large changes in temperature and pressure, they can suffer the effects of engine over-boosting and failing turbo oil seals. This level of stress, along with exposure to contaminants will cause the hose to eventually fail and require replacement.

First Line turbo hoses are manufactured and quality tested in accordance to OE specifications. As they generally operate at increased air pressures, reinforcement fibres (polyester or aramid, depending on OE specifications) are added to the walls of the hose during construction. These fibres help maintain the integrity of the hose under high-pressure conditions.
