IAAF Winners
Chesterfield-based motor factor, Autosupplies, has won ‘Car Distributor of Excellence’ at the highly respected IAAF Annual Award Ceremony 2017, held at its new location of the DoubleTree by Hilton, Milton Keynes on 7 December.
One of the UK’s biggest distributors received the award in front of around 600 guests, with the result recognising Autosupplies’ position as a leader in the industry. The outcome is particularly significant as the results were decided directly by aftermarket professionals with IAAF members voting for their preferred distributor, rating the company against a range of criteria on IAAF’s website: www.iaaf.co.uk.
This latest accolade follows a series of recent wins for the fast-growing company, including ‘Factor Branch / Team of the Year’ at the Car & Accessory Trader (CAT) Awards 2017. The company has also experienced rapid growth this year, with the acquisition of Barnsley-based motor factor Butlers Automotive, having grown its head office and Bolsover branch to be one of the largest single branch motor factors in the UK, occupying a 40,000sqft site and employing more than 90 members of staff and managing a fleet of more than 50 delivery vehicles.
Autosupplies managing director, David Clarke, said: “We’re delighted to accept the award and the result is a reflection of our hard work and continued business investment. This tops off our most successful year to date as a business through our recent acquisition. To go one better than last year where we came runner up in the same category is the icing on the cake!
“As always, full credit goes to the staff and our customers as this achievement would not be possible without our loyal team and the local community.”
