New to range emission control components
Klarius Products, the largest UK manufacturer of aftermarket automotive emission control components has released a full consolidated list of new-to-range parts introduced during 2017. The list includes 540 exhausts, catalytic converters (CATs), diesel particulate filters (DPFs), mountings and accessories, aimed at supporting applications across the automotive spectrum.
Doug Bentley, Head of R&D at Klarius comments, “New parts are the life-blood of the aftermarket - as models age then garages must be able to access the parts they need. So as soon as there is a requirement, we will develop a new part. Which is partly why Klarius introduces so many new part every year and also why the company has a warehouse containing a back-catalogue of over 10,000 parts.”
After recently expanding its research and development department, Klarius has been able to deliver new parts to market on a daily basis during 2017. The new for 2017 range supports a wide variety of vehicles currently operating on EU roads, including hatchbacks, saloons, light commercials, MPVs, SUVs, sports cars, luxury cars and superminis.
2017 product highlights include big sellers and specialist premium brand equipment, from CATs for the Smart FOURTWO 1.0 coupe, DPFs for the premium BMW X5 and X6, exhaust mountings for the popular Toyota Aygo, exhausts for the James May preferred Dacia Sandero and CAT front pipes for the Saab 9-5 1.9TID. The parts service vehicles old and new, offering customers unrivalled choice, illustrating Klarius’ commitment in this regard.
All applicable emissions products from Klarius are type-approved to EU legislative standards. This certification is independently ratified by the VCA or TÜV, taking into account noise, pressure, levels of emissions and conformity of fit. Furthermore, Klarius utilises vehicles of appropriate make, model and production year when developing new emissions components, ensuring seamless integration upon installation. All parts are designed to match or exceed the performance and emissions standards of OEM components.
Doug Bentley concludes: “2017 was one of our strongest years yet in terms of delivering new parts to market. This new-to-range list shows the variation in the applications we develop parts for, which is a key aspect of offering our customer’s extensive choice. We will be looking to improve even further in 2018 with an even higher number of new products, enhancing our range of high quality aftermarket emissions components.”
