New Commercial Vehicle and LCV Thermal Management Catalogue

Revised edition provides greater detail and a wider range

Chipping Warden, May 2018 Behr Hella Service, a leading aftermarket supplier of thermal management solutions, has introduced its latest product catalogue for commercial vehicle (CV) and light commercial vehicle (LCV) applications, showcasing its 3,100-part numbers across multiple product groups, which cater for more than 800 vehicles from 60 manufacturers.

Technicians rely on fitting original equipment (OE) quality products to ensure they are able to complete service and repair work to the highest level, which is why Behr Hella Service continuously seeks to extend its product range and has directly led to the inclusion of 280 further part numbers, in this latest 2018/19 edition.

The new additions reflect developments in the thermal management market and include exhaust gas recirculation coolers, as well as more traditional products, such as control valves for vehicle heating, electrical controls for blending flaps and cover plates for coolant radiators and expansion tanks.

The 1,200-page publication is classified into vehicle-specific categories covering spare parts, universal parts, refrigerants and oils, therefore providing users with clear and concise navigation in order to quickly pinpoint the products the technician requires to undertake the repair.

To provide a useful overview, the first pages are ordered to give a summary of all the products, classified according to individual vehicle types. The main body of the catalogue then uses a range of symbols for smart searching to show product features such as oil quantities for compressors, power consumption of cooling fan motors or the number of blades on the fan rota itself. Extra details include whether a condenser or interior blower is equipped with a filter-dryer, expansion valve or blower control unit, for example.

The catalogue has yet one more benefit to offer as next to an individual product illustration is a QR code, which enables users to directly access the latest relevant data held in the online catalogue.
