Les Downey Retires from Lucas Oil

Les Downey retired as Managing Director of Lucas Oil Products (UK) Ltd at the end of July 2018.

Over the last 17 years, Les has helped to establish one of America’s favourite brands of motor oils and additives with trade and retail partners in the UK, across Continental Europe and in Scandinavia. 

Confirming his retirement – and that of his wife Maureen Downey, who was part of the Lucas Oil team for much of that time – he said:

“I’ve introduced a lot of new customers to Lucas Oil and along the way, a lot of these people have become good friends. On behalf of Maureen and myself, I would like to thank them for their support and hope they will continue to support the brand for many years to come.”

Bob Patison, Senior Vice President of Lucas Oil Products Inc. expressed his thanks and appreciation on behalf of the brand and its employees. He added:
