Gates Warranty Changes

Starting 1st September 2018, Gates will be processing non-labour warranty claims at their Technical Centre in Belgium.

Since January this year, genuine claims from the UK have been processed more quickly with detailed reports to explain the decision behind the validity of warranty claims. Teamed with investments made to improve customer service and training initiatives for installers, Gates has seen a fall in overall numbers of invalid claims.

As this warranty claim system has been well received, non-labour claims will be managed the same way, starting September.

What does this mean?

Like labour claims, all non-labour warranties must be processed through the FPS eWarranty module which will be review at the Gates Technical Centre in Belgium. Claims and reports will then be returned within 29 days, with valid claims being credited after inspection.
