Ignition specialist NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd will be holding product training sessions at the forthcoming MechanEx exhibition at Sandown Park following their success at its sister show in Manchester earlier this year.

The leading supplier of original equipment (OE) spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK Lambda and other engine management sensors attracted big audiences of technicians to each presentation it held in Manchester in May and is hoping to replicate their success at Sandown Park on November 6 & 7.

Presented by Tim Howes, Deputy General Manager – Supply Chain & Technical Service, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd, the sessions will focus on either ignition products – spark plugs, glow plugs and ignition coils – or vehicle electronics, NTK Lambda, NOx, EGT, MAP and MAF sensors – and as an added incentive for show visitors to attend each delegate will receive a free LED work lamp.

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd, said: “The technical training sessions were a great success in Manchester and we are confident that they will prove to be equally as popular at Sandown Park.

“We attracted big attendances for all of them and trained more than 250 garages across the two days of the show. In some cases, it was standing-room only as technicians gathered to learn more about our products and the outside factors that can affect their performance. The feedback we had was very positive, so we have decided to hold some more on our purpose-built stand at Sandown Park.”

NGK is an OE supplier to most of the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers with the same parts being available in the automotive aftermarket and will showcase these products together with its comprehensive ignition coils range at MechanEx.

In addition to the training seminars NGK staff will also be on-hand to provide more details about the company’s products and latest initiatives.
