New data services help Bosch improve Autocat catalogue data
MAM Software's new data solutions are helping parts suppliers like Bosch Automotive Aftermarket improve the quality of data featured in its Autocat catalogue
MAM Software is pleased to announce a range of data services for parts suppliers and manufacturers who provide information to its popular Autocat parts catalogue. A number of component suppliers are already taking advantage of the new services, including Bosch Automotive Aftermarket.
The new solutions are designed to help part suppliers improve the quality of product information published to customers through Autocat. They cover a variety of services including data manipulation, mapping, maintenance, reporting, and the recently announced conversion of TecDoc data.
"Better catalogue data benefits everyone in the supply chain" said Nigel Clemett, general manager at MAM Software Ltd. "By improving the quality of their data, suppliers can help to reduce the number of options presented to the thousands of motor factors and garages that use our Autocat catalogue. Accurate data builds trust, which can have a positive impact on sales."
Mark Heard, marketing manager at Bosch Automotive Aftermarket, explained the benefits to catalogue users:
"By using MAM's new data services we are improving the quality of our data that we publish to Autocat. With more accurate data our customers can easily find the part they are looking for, which not only makes ordering Bosch parts simpler for them, but they are able to order with confidence that it will be the right part.
"As a direct result of using MAM's data services, users now have a higher chance of finding a Bosch part published in Autocat today compared to this time last year. For example, brake pad/disc coverage has increased by just under 9%, we have also seen similar results across many of our parts."
"Providing services for suppliers to improve product data is a key objective in our ongoing commitment to enhancing Autocat v8's overall data quality," Nigel Clemett concluded. "We look forward to working with new and existing supplier partners and helping them deliver accurate, up-to-date product information to their customers, and see improved results just like Bosch have."
MAM Software will be showcasing its new catalogue data services at this month's Automechanika show in Frankfurt. You will find them at stand E59 in the SMMT Pavillion in hall 5.1. Alternatively you can email them via [email protected]
