UK Batteries seals Northern Ireland acquisition

UK Batteries has signalled its intentions for growth in 2009 by purchasing the Northern Ireland Division of Energy Batteries Limited from the appointed administrator.



The Northern Ireland Division of Energy Batteries went into administration on Tuesday, 10 February and administrators quickly made the eight-strong workforce redundant.

Factors urged to promote R2RC supporters packs

The Right to Repair Campaign (R2RC), aimed at safeguarding the rights given to the aftermarket by the block exemption regulations 2002 (BER), has produced a supporters pack that will enable garages to promote the campaign to consumers.



The garage supporters pack, priced at £10+vat, is designed to encourage garages to become centrally involved in the campaign and effectively explain its merits to the general public.



The pack includes an R2RC DVD, 100 consumer leaflets, three R2RC posters, a ‘supporter’ sign, 400 campaign stickers and, 10 trade leaflets. Read More..
