Autoparts revels in warehouse move
UAN distributor and Scotland’s largest supplier of car parts Autoparts now occupies a new 70,000sqft central distribution warehouse in Glasgow.
More than 60,000 parts are held on site, which also houses over 100 staff. The building was originally home to Albion Trucks. Read More.. News
Carlube Triple R sponsor Hughes in the BTCC 2012
Tetrosyl have announced their official sponsorship of Hughes Motorsport for the 2012 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. Bicester to Banbury for First Line
Established in 1983, Bicester has always been First Line’s home, but despite protracted deliberations over possible sites in the town, the requirements for a new building able to meet the needs of the 12 product groups and the 25,000 part numbers that now form the First Line and Borg & Beck brand portfolios meant there was no choice but to look elsewhere.
The new Banbury site is half a mile from junction 11 of the M40. First Line’s continuing commitment to its customers can also be witnessed by the fact that the new facility also includes a technical centre for its Borg & Beck clutch systems, followed by the addition of a fully functioning garage workshop, so that technicians can receive first hand instruction on today’s technical challenges, due later this year. New Lambda Sensor range introductions from Cambiare
Cambiare has doubled the size of its popular Lambda sensor range, bringing the total to over 400 direct fit part numbers.
The OEM quality range of sensors now features the latest generation 5-wire wideband and air-fuel ratio sensors (otherwise known as lean burn sensors). Neil Davis warming up for the LeaderBoard Challenge
Neil Davis is Managing Director of Stratford-upon-Avon based business FPS and this year the team across all 22 FPS sites are involved in Sport Relief 2012.
Neil is part of a team of Managing Directors and Chief Executives called the LeaderBoard who are raising money for Sport Relief 2012 by competing against each other at the Blenheim Triathlon on June 10th. There are around 30 in the team. Read More.. News

Hybrid vehicles tend to be divided into three categories: full, mild and micro hybrid. Full hybrids can operate by using just the engine, just the electric motor or a combination of both, whereas mild hybrids can only use the electric motor short periods to back up the engine, but can't operate solely on electric power.
