Delphi recently hosted a conference event for members of the UAN.

The event was held at the Heritage Motor Centre at Gaydon Warwickshire .

Members were brought up to date about recent developments at Delphi with particular emphasis on the development and testing procedures to which each new Delphi part is subjected.

The group learnt about changes and improvements to braking and steering and suspension programmes and in particular the vehicle electronics revolution, diagnostics and telematics and how these will continue to impact the independent aftermarket – their businesses.

After a buffet lunch, delegates tested their off-road driving skills on Land-Rovers track, driving the latest Discovery and Range Rover models. When not off-roading, they were able to look around the fascinating museum which houses many historic cars dating back to motoring’s earliest days.

The group then moved to the Prestigious 16th Century Walton Hall Hotel, just outside Stratford on Avon for a drinks reception, dinner and overnight accommodation before departing for home the next morning.
