1000 Parts and Counting!
Comline demonstrates its strength in Steering & Suspension with the introduction of its 1000th part number
Following its launch into the steering and suspension product category in early 2013, Comline has further underlined its intentions with the introduction of its 1000th part number. Comline’s Product Development Team have worked tirelessly to develop a range which, in just 12 months, has grown from 250 to 1000 part numbers and counting. This rapid development of steering and suspension now sees Comline cater for 90% of the European, Japanese and Korean car parc in this category.
As part of this development process, Comline has also introduced new product categories within steering and suspension over the past year. Initially launching with stabiliser links, control arms and suspension kits, the expansion of Comline steering and suspension has also seen the successful introduction of tie rods, tie rod ends, ball joints and suspension bushes in order to provide a complete steering and suspension solution for the automotive aftermarket.
Each and every Comline steering and suspension part is subjected to strict quality control procedures to ensure total performance and reliability in what is a safety critical category. Prior to manufacturing all raw materials are tested for purity before each component is put through a rigorous quality testing process. Tension, compression and hardness, weld penetration, salt spray, mud and live performance tests are all carried out to guarantee that each component meets Comline’s exacting quality standards. Finally, each component is brand and batch coded for total traceability.

Speaking on behalf of Comline, Sales & Marketing Director Malcolm Rosher was quoted as saying “Steering and suspension is going to be a hugely important product category for Comline in the years ahead. The progress we have made in this category in such a short space of time is phenomenal and a real compliment to the drive, determination and talent of our Product Development Team.” Rosher was also quick to underline Comline’s focus on the steering & suspension category, stating “Our goal was to become a major player in steering and suspension right across Europe and we now have the depth and quality in our range to support that goal. We will continue to expand and refine our already excellent product offering and I firmly expect this arm of the Comline business to go from strength-to-strength in 2014.”
This rapid expansion is further evidence of Comline’s continued growth and stature within the marketplace. With such a strong range, the company is well placed to make 2014 a big year for Comline steering and suspension.
