A new range of Comma brand ‘TransFlow’ engine lubricants for heavy duty commercial vehicles has been announced.

“The challenge of meeting increasingly demanding emissions regulations - combined with a strong drive towards improved fuel economy without compromising long oil drain intervals - is placing heavy demands on vehicle manufacturers and transport operators alike,” says Comma brand spokesman Mike Bewsey. “The necessary changes in hardware design and operating strategies have resulted in a shift towards high performance, lower viscosity semi and fully synthetic engine oils of a type more commonly associated with passenger vehicles.”
