IMPORTANT NEW ADDITIONS TO REMY STEERING RANGE
Remy Automotive UK Ltd, the UK’s leading automotive remanufacturer, has announced the introduction of a further 100 new-to-range steering pumps and racks for popular vehicle applications, increasing the total number of part numbers in the Remy steering pump and rack range to well over 2,000, covering a total of more than 20,000 car applications.
New introductions to the range for popular vehicle applications include the Generation III steering racks for the Audi A3, the VW Golf V, VI, Passat, Touran and Jetta III, the Seat Leon, Altea Toledo III and the Skoda Octavia. New electric hydraulic steering pumps introduced include the Ford Focus MkII, S-Max and Fiesta MkVI, the VW Polo, the Vauxhall Astra MkV and Vectra C plus the Volvo S40 II / V50.
The Remy steering range covers more than 95% of the UK car parc. All Remy steering racks and pumps are remanufactured to the highest quality standards under ISO 9001:2008 and come with a 24-month warranty. In line with all Remy products, continuous research and development work ensures that this extensive product range is covered.
All Remy steering components undergo numerous processes and tests to produce an OE-equivalent unit. Every unit is then 100% tested using the most stringent state-of-the-art test equipment. As steering racks are clearly safety critical, so a quality replacement rack is essential.
“This is part of our ongoing range development to create strong sales opportunities for the UK Aftermarket by ensuring the Remy range offers the best car parc coverage in the UK,” says Michael Flensborg, Sales & Marketing Director of Remy Automotive UK Ltd. “In addition, our aim is to always offer top quality products at competitive prices.”
