Blue Print Glow Plug Reamers
Blue Print’s range contains over 150 glow plug references which cover more than 1,700 Asian and American vehicle applications.

Glow plugs are often difficult to remove due to carbon build up in the aperture, which needs to be cleaned on every glow plug replacement to reduce the chance of premature failure and subsequent removal problems.
Blue Print supplies a glow plug reamer to suit engines using M10 x 1 and M10 x 1.25 threaded glow plugs. The reamer removes carbon build-up from the aperture without the need to remove the cylinder head - an essential for a professional and long lasting replacement.

“I Didn’t Know You Did That”
Did you know that you can source typically niche cooling expansion tanks from FPS?

Overview: Cooling Expansion Tanks

The expansion tank is an integral part of a car’s cooling system. It contains a level of water/coolant (usually about half full) and serves as the overflow reservoir.

As the vehicle warms up and the temperature increases, the cooling system becomes more pressurised. At a certain point, excess coolant is taken to relieve the system via the radiator cap and overflow pipe to the expansion tank. This excess is normally returned once the engine cools; therefore the expansion tank level (when cold) should remain at about the same level.

Location: The expansion tank is clearly visible and located in the engine bay, usually next to the inner wing.

Reasons for Failure: Over time, the plastic tank is subjected to heat and pressure from the cooling system. This can cause cracks or leaks, especially around the tanks moulded seal. They are also subjected to impact damage in minor accidents, due to their position in the car. The cooling tank is normally easy to replace.

Highlights include:
