Launches complete range of 2015 Filter catalogues

Sogefi Group, Europe’s leading OE and aftermarket filter manufacturer, has published a suite of updated catalogues for all its aftermarket filter brands: Fram®, CoopersFiaam, Purflux and SogefiPro.

The inclusion of over 150 new products in the 2015 Fram®, CoopersFiaam, and Purflux catalogues clearly demonstrates Sogefi’s commitment to using its OEM expertise to meet the needs of the aftermarket as quickly as possible following new vehicle launches.

Sogefi brands represent best-in-class in every product category, offering the highest car parc coverage in Europe. This ranges from 99% for oil and diesel to 96% for air and cabin air filters. Covering the same market with up to 15% fewer part numbers (in the air and oil filters range) also represents a huge benefit to customers in terms of optimising stock levels.

This year Sogefi has again ensured optimal range coverage for new vehicles, including the Audi A1, BMW 2 and 4 series, Citröen C4 Aircross, Fiat 500l, Ford Ecosport and Focus III, Hyundai Santa Fe III, Kia Rio III, Mercedes Benz C and CLA, Opel Adam, Mokka and Zafira III, Peugeot 308 II, Porsche Macan, Renault Captur and Clio IV, Seat Leon III, Volkswagen Polo VI, Volvo V60 and V70 II.

It is also notable that Sogefi Group supplies OEM filtration components for 8 of the 10 best selling cars in Europe last year. This is highly significant for the aftermarket as this OE pedigree provides excellent evidence of the quality of Sogefi aftermarket filters. Available now, these 450 page Fram®, CoopersFiaam, Purflux catalogues meet the needs of over 800 new models as well as vehicles up to 25 years old. Taking the number of new products into account, Sogefi aftermarket brands have introduced over 4,000 new applications covered in the space of just two years. This means the total number of vehicles in the catalogue is over 33,000; an increase of 15%.

The 2015 SogefiPro catalogue, dedicated to meeting the needs of heavy duty specialists, has details of around 70 new parts and 390 new applications, offering 500 references for all makes and engines covering 93% of the European car parc. This extensive range includes filters for oil, air (primary and secondary), fuel and pre-filters, cabin air, transmission, gearbox and steering hydraulics, air desiccator, coolant and urea. The new SogefiPro catalogue is listed on TecDoc and the print version will be available in October.

Using a consistent layout across all its aftermarket brands, each new filter is clearly identified in the practical, easy-to-use catalogues. This means that Sogefi aftermarket customers can source quickly and with confidence the right OE quality oil, air, petrol, diesel and cabin air filters for all-makes of cars, light vehicles and commercial vehicles.

Andrea Taschini, General Manager of Sogefi Aftermarket Business Unit, says the new catalogues are much more than a comprehensive listing of Sogefi products. "Our company is clearly established as the industry leader when it comes to speed to market, especially in respect of new vehicles," he says. "That comes from our strong balance between innovation as an OEM partner to leading automotive manufacturers worldwide and our commitment to ensuring that Sogefi innovations are also available to the aftermarket."

All of the catalogues can be viewed online from the relevant brand’s website: www.purflux.com, www.coopersfiaam.com, www.fram-europe.com and www.sogefipro.com.
