Appoints Marlor in dual role

Sovereign Rotating Machines has appointed Andy Marlor as new Business Manager for the south and east of England and also UK & Ireland Training & Customer Support.

Marlor has spent several years working as a technician within the motor trade before moving onto motorcycles, where he built and tested motocross race engines for a Yamaha race team.

Before joining Sovereign, he spent four years working with leading distributor business PMA Motor Factors where he enjoyed roles as sales representative and then sales manager.

In his new career at Sovereign he will manage new and existing business in the south and east of England, and due to his technical expertise, Marlor will be providing UK and Ireland customers with company training and customer support.

Commenting on his new role, Marlor said: “I am very excited to be joining Sovereign Rotating Machines. The company continues to grow, cementing its position as market leader in rotating electrics. Training is key to all businesses in the automotive industry and so I very much look forward to working with customers to ensure they take full advantage of what we at Sovereign can offer.

Kevin Sharp, Sovereign sales director, said: “The appointment of Andy is another example of our aim as a business to not only offer the widest range of auto electrical products but to ensure customers are fully supported with training and technical expertise to help them push the product through to the installer with ease.”
