ACDelco intends to continue to exploit the aftermarket opportunities that exist not just in the UK but also across Europe by promoting its capabilities on the back of the adopted promotional platform for 2013 of ‘Driving Forward’.

As ACDelco’s director Lee Quinney states: “We have never shied away from being bold when it comes to our continued intent to strengthen our position in the UK and European aftermarkets where we operate, and as our current campaign dictates, 2013 will be no exception. Whilst the prevailing climate does remain a challenge, we are confident that we occupy as strong a position today as we have done over the last seven years, and are therefore understandably optimistic as to what 2013 has to hold.

“Whilst as in other industry sectors the aftermarket hasn’t been without its casualties, ACDelco is on a firm footing and well placed to secure continued and sustainable growth. We have an expanding customer base not just here in the UK but across numerous European territories and this is something that will be looking to build on over the next ten months,” Quinney adds.

In addition to ‘Driving Forward’ being at the heart of ACDelco’s above-the-line campaign for 2013, it will be rolled out across the operation’s website and is set to feature on an array of other promotional and PR material as the year unfolds.

On the product front, then having this year already launched a 1200 part number range of brake discs, ACDelco is currently working on developing several other core product groups, primarily filters, spark plugs, bulbs, oils and wipers. Clutch will also remain in focus, with ACDelco seeking to announce additional products on an almost monthly basis.
