The UK aftermarket operation of ACDelco is on course to strengthen its relationship with one of the UK’s leading aftermarket buying groups – UAN (United Aftermarket Network). Having secured preferred supplier status across all eight product groups, UAN’s network of some 140 distributors will enjoy a greater opportunity to tap into some 4,000 ACDelcopart numbers, covering clutch, braking, batteries oils & lubricants, filters, wiping, spark plugs and bulbs.

Commenting on UAN’s decision to widen its contractual remit with ACDelco, Managing Director, Phil Dodd said: “Our relationship with ACDelco has continued to go from strength to strength and this has gone hand in hand with the positive attitude our distributors have with respect to ACDelco’s product, be it in relation to parts coverage, quality, price or availability. Elevating them to preferred supplier status across their entire product offering was therefore a logical one.”

These same sentiments are echoed by Lee Quinney who heads up the ACDelco operation both here in the UK and across Europe. “To receive further endorsement as to how valued our product range is amongst UAN’s members is extremely gratifying for the entire ACDelco team.

“We continue to go to great lengths to increase the relevance of our parts offering by aligning it to the current aftermarket vehicle parc, whilst at the same time delivering competitively-priced OE quality products on time. It is against this backdrop that we shall look to continue building our relationship with UAN and its members,” he added.

Looking to exploit the new agreement to its maximum potential, ACDelco got the chance to showcase its product offering to UAN’s members at two regional trade shows earlier this month – one held at Reading Football Club’s Madejski Stadium and Lancashire County Cricket Club’s The Point conference and events centre.
