ZF's customer magazine "drive" accessible electronically
The app for iPads and iPhones makes ZF's customer magazine "drive" even more exciting. The app also contains additional, exclusive contents. You can look forward to interviews, videos, animations, photos, and much more.
Welcome to our third edition of the "drive" app for iPad and iPhone. Once again, this app comprises interesting and supplementary contents to "drive", our customer magazine, printed third edition.
Outline of the topics:
- The ZF-Intarder, ZF's powerful, hydrodynamic auxiliary brake, not only increases the safety of buses and trucks significantly but also preserves the environment from large amounts of brake dust caused by the abrasion of brake linings. In addition, workshop costs decrease as a result of the Intarder enhancing the service life of the service brakes.
- As good as new: The industrial remanufacturing of used, high-quality vehicle components such as axles, steering systems, or transmissions saves energy and valuable resources. "Drive" visited ZF experts for remanufacturing in Nottingham (Great Britain) and had a look at the remanufacturing of passenger car transmissions.
- In times of rapidly growing cities worldwide, navigation devices, intelligent traffic control, or smart mobile solutions are to ensure the mobility of inhabitants. This is what researchers and city planners around the world came up with to avoid the gridlock.
- Cooperative work-study degree program: Patricia Weiss is a business administration student in Ravensburg and works at ZF in Friedrichshafen. She is one of approximately 200 students in the cooperative work-study degree program at ZF. Here you can find out why this educational model is so attractive for students and the company.
