Chesterfield based Auto-Supplies, long term UAN (United Aftermarket Network) distributor, has celebrated staff contributions and commitment by awarding its employee of the year together with ten year anniversary awards.

Auto-Supplies are about to celebrate 25 years in business, and have just awarded van delivery driver Sally Foreman the 2014 Employee of the Year Award. Sally, has worked for Auto-Supplies for the past two years, and the award was

voted for by company’s staff. “Sally is very popular with our customers”, said Auto-Supplies Managing Director, David Clarke. ”And so this award is very appropriate and I’m grateful to our supplier FPS for supporting this important staff initiative”.

The company has also recognised ten year anniversaries for three members of staff. Van delivery driver Julie Noble, Amanda Clayton, a product picker and Margaret Fowler, a supervisor have all worked for the company for 10 years and have been part of making an important contribution to the success of the business.



“Staff are the most important asset that a company has”, said David Clarke. “In addition to our employee of the year and the 10 year anniversary awards, we continue to invest in young people. Hence our commitment to apprenticeships and we have just taken on two new young people, under the nvq training scheme. Adam Bargh, will be working on our sales counter, and Melanie Wilkinson will take up training in our paint shop.”
