Relocates Head Office due to continued growth

Baldwin Baldwin Filters offer a global coverage for equipment operating in the truck, bus, plant and construction and agricultural markets, has relocated their UK Head Office from Basildon to an £8 million facility based in Runcorn as part of its strategic growth plan.

The new distribution centre features 155,000 sq ft ensuring Baldwin continue to meet and exceed their 96% FPA to their customers with stock being housed on racking 22 metres tall in a warehouse the height of 7 double decker buses!

Marc Worthington, UK Sales Director, goes on to say ‘We are pleased to have relocated to our new premises, this gives us more space and state of the art warehousing technology such as laser guided fork lift trucks and handheld scanning equipment for increased pick accuracy. The product is also scanned at the packing stations ensuring our customers get the right part all of the time as customer satisfaction is our main objective’ he also adds ‘Vertical integration is a core strength for Baldwin which means we manufacture our own components from raw materials where possible ensuring we control the quality from start to finished product’.

The Head Office is also fully supported by a customised education and training facility offering employees as well as customers from across the globe the best in class training services and will be the new centre for the European Baldwin Training.
Baldwin Filters Global Headquarters in Nebraska, USA, will also see a 421,730 square feet warehouse expansion program, equal in size to eight football fields. The addition means the Kearney operation of Baldwin Filters will have just over 1 million square feet of space.
