BALDWIN have committed to becoming an associate member of the Road Haulage Association and have started to market the brand direct to the end user by informative advertising in their publication ‘Roadways’

Following extensive research Baldwin concluded that they should continue to attack the market place at distributor level but also needed to look to the end user to inform them of the proposition and attempt to bring the end user to the distributor through effective marketing, thus increasing Baldwin’s market share in the truck market.

As a result Baldwin have committed to becoming an associate member of the Road Haulage Association and have started to market the brand direct to the end user (in this case the hauliers) by informative advertising in the RHA publication ‘Roadways’ which has a monthly circulation of 7200 copies. Baldwin will also attend and sponsor some of the RHA’s seminars where they will have a trade stand.

This marketing is aimed at increasing the awareness of Baldwin Filters and the benefits of Baldwin Filters to the end user who in turn will have information on how to contact Baldwin where they can direct the end user to the nearest UAN distributor supporting the Baldwin brand. (attacking the market from both sides).

The intention is to help bring an increase in business to the distributors and of course increase their Baldwin purchases. Baldwin have full use of the RHA logo as an associate member and access to all their members including data on fleet, size etc.

Marc Worthington UK Sales Manager at Baldwin commented “We want the distributors to know we are working on their behalf to assist them in growing their market share and our brand”
