Steve Jones Joins The CV Team
As the First Line Group (FLG) continues to develop its commercial vehicle (CV) replacement parts programme, under its globally recognised Borg & Beck brand, it has confirmed the appointment of respected CV specialist Steve Jones as the brand?s CV manager.
Steve has worked in the CV aftermarket for 26 years, beginning in 1989 with TTC, where he gained experience in a number of roles including customer service, marketing and technical sales, before moving to axle, braking and suspension supplier Meritor. Latterly he has been with Brigade Electronics and Freight Products, from where he joined FLG.
Commenting on his appointment, Managing Director, Dan Joyner said: ?Launching a new product offering into a new sector is a big undertaking and although we have great internal experience and a fantastic brand, it was also very important for us to recruit a capable and knowledgeable specialist to ensure the programme is a compelling offering to the CV market. With Steve, we undoubtedly have the professional to fulfil that role and we welcome him into the First Line family.?
?I am looking forward to the challenges ahead as we re-launch the Borg & Beck brand into the CV Aftermarket,? said Steve. ?Although it may be early days, the response from customers to our initial offering has been extremely positive and this is only going to get better as we introduce more new and exciting ranges.
?The Borg and Beck brand is synonymous with quality and with its pedigree, customers will have confidence in offering it as a credible alternative to OES product supplied by CV dealers.?
The full Borg & Beck CV programme includes a comprehensive range of Clutch, Steering, Brake Drums and Rotating Electrics components for the Aftermarket.
