CHECKTHREAD is a new kit that allows the vehicle operator to monitor wheel stud quality and stud hole integrity.

It is designed to be used as part of an overall programme of ensuring wheel safety. It has been proven that poor quality, stretched, damaged or ill-fitting studs can contribute to loose nuts and ultimately loss of the wheel.

The CHECKTHREAD toolkit allows the operator to ensure that wheelstuds are fit for purpose on the fleet.

Kit contains threadtesters to suit M18, M20, M22 and Scania 7/8" UNF-11 sizes together with Stud Hole Elongation Tool to help identify stretching and damage to stud holes of sizes 21mm, 24mm and 26mm.
