In order to speed up the process and avoid the delay of units having to be returned for inspection before any decision on warranty can be given, Clutchmaster is offering a No Quibble (Counter Settlement) agreement for 2009 to UAN members.

At the complete discretion of a member’s warranty inspector and subject to the conditions listed and where a claim for labour is not involved, an immediate replacement of the unit can be given for units that have failed in operation as a final settlement.

The unit in question can then be returned along with normal core returns for full internal inspection and report. A replacement unit or, if preferred, a similar unit up to the same value will then be sent along with the next order.

Clutchmaster will accept this decision even where – following a full inspection – there is no manufacturing fault found.

Where a labour claim is involved the units would have to be returned in the normal manner for inspection before any decision can be made.

Conditions of No Quibble

•    Units are of Clutchmaster manufacture or supply.
•    Units were purchased direct from Clutchmaster.
•    Units are within the agreed warranty period.

•    The units have been fitted correctly to the vehicle concerned.
•    Twin plate clutches have been adjusted and set up as required.
•    Factory set units have not been split.
•    Correctly filled out paperwork is returned with the unit.
