Distributors and technicians alike look to Comma for quality products that conform to vehicle manufacturers’ requirements, and in which they have complete confidence to supply to their customers.
Nowhere is this more important than in the case of engine lubricants. In Europe, it is necessary to be registered with the Technical Association for the European Oil Industry (ATIEL) and conform to its Code of Practise in order to legitimately claim the ACEA oil specifications on-pack. ATIEL is the body responsible for establishing strict benchmarks for auditing the development and production of engine lubricants, and is the sole, industry-recognised validator of the Association of European Automotive Manufacturers (ACEA) performance claims.
Comma has been registered with ATIEL since 1997 and conforms fully to its Code of Practice. Comma’s ATIEL ‘Letter of Conformance’ has recently been renewed until 31st May, 2015.
To accord with the highest international standards, all Comma lubricants are
blended and produced in accordance with the European Engine Lubricants Quality Management System (EELQMS) accreditations process and the American Petroleum Institute (API) specifications.
Comma’s manufacturing protocols also meet the following standards.
• Quality control – ISO 9001:2008 Performance (Quality)
• ISO 14001:2004 – (Environmental)
• OSHAS 18001 – (Occupational Health & Safety Management)
