Valeo Service (UK) has launched a new campaign where it is aiming to stock every product it sells. The business believes that its plan will help to offer a more comprehensive and faster service to the aftermarket. Valeo's "Just Ask" campaign "you ask, we'll have it" is the new mantra at the company's Redditch distribution centre - launched at the end of May. To cope with the demand, Redditch has undergone a significant change to its warehousing and logistics operation, tying improved stock availability with its slick ordering and product management from the global network of Valeo factories. In practical terms, the UK aftermarket will be able to tap into over 13,000 parts on Valeo shelves. If it is in a Valeo catalogue the company will aim to have it in stock. To meet the "Just Ask" requirements Valeo has increased its part numbers by 55% and every product range is covered. Valeo Service (UK) Marketing Director, Brent Hudson explains: "We want to meet the demand from customers and basically never let them down. So as part of a pan-European move, we want our customers to put us to the test - just ask us for the part, and our aim is to always have it. Our traditional way of working is to hold sufficient stock to meet the vast majority of our customers' requirements. This in itself is a large portfolio of products that helps us offer tremendous service to our customers. But we believe that we can improve even further." The campaign has its own dedicated logo, with posters and other promotional materials now appearing in motor factors across the country encouraging them to "Just Ask"
