ZF at Automechanika Birmingham
From the 7th – 9th June, ZF presented their broad product portfolio and aftersales service at Automechanika’s inaugural UK show at the NEC, Birmingham. They exhibited a range of driveline, transmission and steering technology highlighting their market-leading solutions through a series of interactive product demonstrations and seminar presentations. Visitors were also able to find out more about their specialist aftermarket repair and remanufacturing services.
On display were a selection of products; clutch, damping, transmission and suspension ranges, as well as Openmatics. Attendees were able to observe product demonstrations looking at damage, earthing, servicing and steering providing them with better insight into the repair process and the technology behind the components.
Martyn Houghton, Automotive Sales Manager, explained: “We’ve been attending Automechanika in Germany for many years and we’re delighted that this year it’s being brought to the UK for the very first time. This offered us the chance to meet new and existing customers and share best practices and new ideas. The show provided us with a fantastic opportunity to present our range of products including the 9HP transmission, DTM clutch and DMF XTend as well as highlighting Openmatics. Visitors were able to find out more on our aftersales service which includes our market leading remanufacturing solution, as well as access to OEM components and the added benefit of our full technical support and dedicated training. It was encouraging to see you there, and we hope you enjoyed the show.”
In addition, as part of the exhibition’s seminar programme, Wayne McCluskey, Technical Training Manager, hosted a special session which took place on the 8th June, outlining Torque Vectoring: The hyper-smart, fuel efficient future of all-wheel drive, which discussed the emerging technology.
