Actia Muller’s Combination vehicle exhaust emissions test unit has received VOSA approval for use in UK MOT test procedures. To mark its release for sale in the UK, the company is giving away an Actia Multi-diag ‘Access’ diagnostics pack, worth £1600, with the first 100 orders received.

Housed in a robust mobile storage cabinet with a 19 inch flat screen, industrial PC, laser printer, compact keyboard and mouse, the emissions test unit is an integral component of the Actia Muller test equipment suite. This means it can be used optionally in conjunction with other Actia Muller test equipment, such as shock absorber testing and wheel alignment. It is also fully compatible with the Actia ‘Multi-diag’ vehicle diagnostic platform, thereby providing the basis for a multi-function vehicle test station, suitable for all makes and with instant update capability via the Internet.

Designed to meet the latest VOSA requirements, Actia Muller’s unit incorporates a four-gas analyser and smoke meter, covering each of the test procedures for petrol and diesel powered vehicles. The technician is taken through the MOT procedure by following simple on-screen instructions. A 16 pin connector is provided for the measurement of engine RPM and Fast Pass software provides analysis, results and printed reports.
